Cross-progression between Mobile and Switch confirmed

Elder Scrolls Blades is the tapping-obsessed mobile spinoff of the Elder Scrolls series that offers you a whole of bunch of daily quests under the banner of being about rebuilding your home town. The game has received criticisms over it’s ability to buy everything in the place of playing, but in time for a new dragon-centered questline we’re getting confirmation of a Switch port. It promises gyro controls and more traditional layout with the Joycons, and is going to be free with cross-progression with the mobile version using the same account.

The immediate concern about this is whether or not the game will let you play it offline, as the game is online-only on mobile devices and the promise of “On the go” doesn’t apply to this game unless they change the way it handles internet connectivity. Being able to play this game outside of your cramped mobile device and with actual physical controls might be the biggest boon if this game has any appeal to you.
