If you were itching to buy the re-releases of the original DOOM trilogy but found you weren’t willing to make a Bethesda.net account, you’re in luck. As of today, all versions of the three games on every console no longer require a login.

Given the games work identically without a login screen, I can’t tell you what benefit they’d have by shipping with that requirement. That being said, you can now buy the game and never have to connect it to the internet. Or give your personal information to companies you don’t trust. Justice is done this day.
