Namco site leaks next FromSoft and Tales games

We are merely days away from hearing about what looks like the next entry in the Tales series of RPGs and the secretive project by Dark Souls developer From Software in collaboration with George R.R. Martin.

The one everyone is going to have eyes on at the major E3 conferences appears to be called “Elden Ring” and even has a logo image for us to look at from Bandai Namco’s webservers. The text description included tells us a lot:

“ELDEN RING, developed by FromSoftware, Inc. and BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc., is a fantasy action-RPG adventure set within a world created by Hidetaka Miyazaki – creator of the influential DARK SOULS video game series; and George R.R. Martin – author of The New York Times best-selling fantasy series, A Song of Ice and Fire,” the description reads. “Danger and discovery lurk around every corner in FromSoftware’s largest game to-date. Hidetaka Miyazaki, President and Game Director of FromSoftware Inc. known for directing critically-acclaimed games in beloved franchises including Armored Core, Dark Souls, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice…”

UPDATE: The Elden Ring logo has been shared by multiple From-owned social media accounts including the Bloodborne accounts. We’ll update once we get the full announcement.

While there’s not much more to be said than what’s already there, we’re also given more definitive pictures of the next game in the Tales RPG series, reportedly titled Tales of Arise. There’s no description to accompany the shots but this game is clearly a departure from the art style of the previous Tales games and we’re likely to see more at the Microsoft E3 conference.

You can check out our E3 Hub for all dates, and be sure to keep it here at GBL for all the conferences.
