Terraria: Journey’s End adds 800 items to the game

This is the game that keeps on giving

The smash-hit sidescrolling Minecraft-meets-Megaman-fighting-Cthulhu game Terraria is getting another free update. Terraria: Journey’s End is going to overhaul world generation in the game to implement a new micro-biomes feature and details are scarce on the contents of the update. But we did get golfing confirmed, so you’re probably hyped if you play this game. The announcement at the PC Gaming Show at E3 also named this to be the penultimate expansion of the game, which signals the end of almost 10 years of free updates. What a ride.

What will definitely intrigue the more seasoned vets of the game is the introduction of Master Mode: a difficulty step up from the Expert Mode and will presumably offer even more insane options to match. Yes, this is still a free update. Keep it here for more coverage.
