Animal Crossing: New Horizons channels Pocket Camp

It’s been a very long time coming for the next entry in the Animal Crossing franchise. While Pocket Camp came and largely went (and even removed from some countries entirely fearing regulations) the series has been promising a sequel on the Switch for a few years now. We’re now treated to a trailer showing the kind of game it is: Founding a town from nothing on an island. This is also formally introducing crafting and more sophisticated resource harvesting to the game, teasing a very Minecraft-like gameplay loop. Check out the trailer, with a release date set for March 2020.
