Ghost Recon: Breakpoint trailer and release date

Go hunting in Auroa Archipelago this October

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint: E3 2019 We Are Brothers Gameplay Trailer | Ubisoft [NA]

The next iteration of the Ghost Recon franchise comes this year as Breakpoint. Iterating upon the open-world aspects of Wildlands, the game centers on a fictional landscape controlled by a Silicon valley company. Additionally the game doubles down on survival mechanics according to its release description:

Test your survival skills and adapt to the varied terrains of Auroa. Steep slopes, accumulating injuries, and fatigue are the new challenges for you to tackle. Set up a camp with your teammates, manage your equipment, class, and weapons in your bivouac, and fine-tune your strategies. If you’re wounded in battle, you’ll have to crawl to the safety of cover to heal yourself, or if a teammate goes down, you’ll need to pick them up and carry them to a safe place before treating their injuries. Use new tools, like the mini drone, that will allow you to sync shot several targets, even in solo.

Ubisoft has also taken to promoting the Ghost Recon community. Describing the game as a social hub with a wealth of PVE and 4v4 PVP options, with progression carrying over between them (I hope not). While it intends to offer the full campaign in co-op, Ubisoft promises “years of content” and a new content type in the form of raids. Check out the trailer.
