Let’s Rock! At EVO 2019, Arc System Works director Daisuke Ishawatari made his return to the event after two years silence. He came to show us what he’d been working on in his absence: The next generation of Guilty Gear. A brief trailer shows us protagonists Sol Badguy and Ky Kiske in the gorgeously refined visuals the developer has become known for. Backed by a rocking new song and a look at a new character, the game simply titled “Guilty Gear” will be arriving in 2020.
While I don’t doubt this being a realistic depiction of the end product, you have to be taken aback by the quality of the 3D animation:
