Link’s Awakening: Dungeon creator, release date

The next entry in the top-down iterations of The Legend of Zelda series is a remake of Link’s Awakening. While the game is adopting a very different style to make a very faithful recreation of the original, we are getting some new things in the form of a dungeon creator. The ability to create custom dungeons and completing them is tied to the new content in the game. Veterans of the series might spot that Fairy Bottle which wasn’t an item in the original game. While there isn’t any Mario Maker business going on here with multiplayer features that we’re aware of, you’ll be able to check out the whole thing this year. Check out the trailer.
