We got teased a new Hero by an Overwatch e-sports account, and now he’s official. The next hero is named Sigma, and he’s a barrier centric tank. Designed as a scientist deeply traumatized by his experiment and granted the ability to manipulate gravity, he is set free from his prison by the villain faction Talon. Director Jeff Kaplan describes his kit in a developer vlog:

Sigma is currently live on the PTR for PC players to try him out. He’ll be floating into live with the next major patch, which is also expected to ship Role Queue.
