Red Dead Redemption 2 PC hints in Social Club

The first Red Dead Redemption never made it to PC, but Rockstar is a very different operation now: Grand Theft Auto V has seen nonstop success by way of GTA Online, frequently topping Steam player counts with other titans of multiplayer gaming. So it would make sense then that Rockstar feed into that fervent player base, and the Rockstar Social Club page for Red Dead Redemption 2 hints at a PC version. JakoMako51 pointed it out on twitter:

GTA Online has paved the way to the world of roleplaying servers, which have quickly caught fire in terms of popularity for PC players. Seeing as the game has a healthy population seven years after release thanks to the evergreen world of San Andreas, we could expect a similar approach for the wild west. It’s worth noting that last year a similar suggestion was made in the companion app’s source code, so we could still be a long ways off.
