In the competition of platform fighters trying to get a piece of the Smash Bros pie, Slap City has endured. The Smash-like based on far more esoteric characters like Fishbunjin and Business Casual Man has teased its upcoming Story Mode. The trailer invites you to scenic Slap City, rife with platforming sections reminisce of Smash Smash Bros. Brawl’s story mode Subspace Emissary. There isn’t a set time frame yet, but it’s worth noting “single player campaign” is one of the milestones for a “1.0” release for the game.
Slap City is 75% off until Monday in time for Smash Con 2019, and once 1.0 comes around the game will be priced at $15.
