The Original DOOM Trilogy is now on consoles

While DOOM Eternal is set to rip and tear in September, a trip down memory lane is in order. At QuakeCon, Bethesda surprised us with the immediate re-release of the original DOOM trilogy. The first two games are on all consoles with Android and iOS included for $4.99 each. Doom 3 (released as the BFG edition from the original release) is also available on consoles only for $9.99. You’re able to buy each game separately. Doom 1 and 2 tout “new levels” added to the original campaigns.

A word of warning that players are noticing that a one-time login to a Bethesda account is required to activate each game. The games work perfectly well offline, provided you log in once. Don’t have an account? Now you do. Doom 1, 2 and 3 are available digitally on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. You can also pick up Doom 1 and 2 on Android and iOS.
