WoW Classic Public Test opens to everyone

Blizzard has announced the first open test of World of Warcraft Classic ahead of launch. Here’s everything you need to know:

The game will be available on June 18. You will need an active subscription to WoW in the Americas/Oceania region to participate. The beta will open on June 19, 5PM Eastern. The Stress Test Realm will remain open until the 21st for approximately 48 hours.

The gameplay itself will allow all classes and races to be created. Levels will be capped at 15 and include all instanced content available at that level. Warsong Gulch, Ragefire Chasm, Wailing Caverns and Deadmines will be accessible.

The development team is inviting “as much play as possible” for the first 3 hours of the test to address issues as they go along. Given the hype around this release of Vanilla WoW, I don’t think there will be a shortage of hiccups.
