Cadence of Hyrule out today on E-Shop

Musical roguelike Crypt of the NecroDancer had been due a switch port after success on PC. The developer made a small request to Nintendo back when the game was first being ported: Link being a playable avatar. Nintendo had a better idea: Make a new game building on the same mechanics but being set in Hyrule with Link and Zelda being playable characters.

The game does this by implementing a randomly remixed overworld of Hyrule in the style of the earliest games. Then, it stacks the randomly generated dungeons of the original into the map. Remix the entire Zelda OST on top and it’s a neat spinoff of the series. Check out the E3 Direct trailer below and buy it now on the E-Shop.
