Dragon Quest XI S brings new content to Switch in September

The eleventh entry in classic JRPG series Dragon Quest is getting the nine yards on Nintendo. Not only is the game’s protagonist Hero coming to Smash, but Dragon Quest XI S loads the game with more content. Advertised as the definitive edition, it’s got new features. Content is expanded with new dungeons and social options, with quality of life being tweaked. They advertise the ability to speed up battles to get more turns in:

There’s also a very impressive feature to remix the whole game’s graphics into the old-school format. It’s the works down to overworld, environments and battle scenes.
