At E3 the company known for their four-foot scaled down arcade cabinets Arcade1Up showed off a new pair of arcade cabinets. The first being Marvel Super Heroes by Capcom and includes the following:
- Marvel Super Heroes
- X-Men: Children of the Atom
- The Punisher
They’re all excellent games and Children of the Atom in particular is a bizarre fighter that would lead up into the modern Marvel vs. Capcom formula. Up next is the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles by Konami:
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1989)
- Turtles in Time (1991)
The fondly-remembered arcade beatemups are also the first 4-player cabinets made by the company. You can expect Capcom’s Marvel cabinet to cost $299 while Konami’s TMNT edition will cost $349. The release dates are slated for August.
